BANANITY RAISES €400K FROM SEVERAL “FAMOUS” BUSINESS ANGELS.

The social network Bananity has received funding amounting €400k by several domestic and foreign business angels, among them are the former minister Cristina Garmendia and television showman Andreu Buenafuente.

The social network, driven by the famous entrepreneur Pau García-Milá and his partner Sergio Galiano, and directed by Albert Marti (CEO of the project), allows to share feelings and preferences about anything, and currently has 20,000 users.

Funds raised will go to develop artificial intelligence algorithms that allow the improvement of personal recommendations that the site performs to its users and its presence expansion through the software for iPhone and Android. Bananity has already sales agreements with Wuaki.tv, Amazon and Restalo.
