GRUPO INVEREADY LAUNCHES THE CROWD ANGEL PLATFORM.
The venture capital firm Inveready has released The Crowd Angel, the crowdfunding online platform aimed at small investors to offer them the chance to invest online in a selection of pre-selected startups. Inveready lead this initiative as majority partner and also other investors assisted having contributed €200,000.
The Crowd Angel role will be to select those business proposals submitted by entrepreneurs and structure and hang on the web up to three projects per month for private investors, previously registered for free, to study whether or not to enter. The company monitoring may also be made in the platform. These are transactions with a financing between €100,000 and €300,000 and with a shares’ face value of €3,000. The Crowd Angel will invest €3,000 in each of the projects in order to have a minority stake.
The platform, currently in beta phase, focuses initially on ICT sector, although Inveready has also thought in Biotech projects. It considers the completion of between five to seven deals in the first working year. The staff is composed by three workers and is expected to increase the workforce with two new employees each year.
The first startup which entered the funding phase is Brainsins. The company has got the 31% of the €200,000 financing round which is taking place.
