SEALED AIR ACQUIRES PROASEPTIC TECHNOLOGIES AND EXITS INVERPYME AND REUS CAPITAL.
The U.S. subsidiary of Sealed Air in Spain has acquired a majority stake in the capital of ProAseptic Technologies, a Barcelona-based company specializing in design and production of packaging and machines of aseptic packaging of foods / drinks and ultra clean.
Sealed Air Corporation offers a wide range of solutions for the packaging of liquids (fill with hot or cold) from 100 ml to 10 liters and 1,000 liters with or without valves.
Systems developed by ProAseptic Technologies, envelopes "stand up" for clean liquids and aseptics ultra with different support systems, in sizes from 100 ml to a liter, are particularly suitable for the retail sector. The synergy between the experience of Sealed Air in the field of flexible packaging materials and know-how ProAseptic Technologies in the packaging of aseptic products will offer to major retailers a wide range of packaging formats for applications in refrigerated and perishable.
The entry of the American company means the divestment of the venture capital firm Inverpyme and Reus Capital, which materialized its entry in ProAseptic Technologies.
