CORPEX TAKES 20% OF ALTER ENERSUN.

The Extremadura public-private VC/PE firm Corporación Empresarial de Extremadura (CORPEX) has taken a 20% stake in Alter Enersun, a photovoltaic roofing installation company in public buildings.

Alter Enersun, born with a capital of €3 million, will be owned 45% by the group the jewelry group by catalog Cristian Lay and 35% by La Seda vice president, José Luis Morlanes.

Alter Enersun plans to invest 12 million to 2012, so it will need bank financing. The company expects to bill €1 million this year and double it next year. In 2013, it hopes to have an installed capacity of 15 megawatts (MW) with projects as photovoltaic roofing in RCD Espanyol's stadium in Cornella de Llobregat, facilities at the University of Murcia and a project in CIM El Camp of Cimalsa.

The company headquartered in Badajoz, although its operational headquarter is in Sant Just Desvern (Baix Llobregat), directly employs nine workers and a hundred indirectly.
