SAGETIS BIOTECH RAISE €2 MILLION FROM CAIXA CAPITAL RISC, IESE BUSINESS ANGELS AND PUBLIC FUNDS.
The venture capital firm Caixa Capital Risc, maintains its commitment to innovative projects in early stage and has closed the second financing round with Sagetis Biotech, together with the network of Business Angels of IESE and national and international public funding. The financing round amounts to €2 million.
New funds raised will serve to validate, through animal testing, the drug delivery technology, to identify new therapeutic compounds to load nanoparticles and complement the team as well as strengthening relations with reference experts.
Biotech Sagetis was the winner of the second edition of BioEmprendedorXXI Program, a training program in the sciences of life sector promoted by "la Caixa", Barcelona Activa, Bioregió of Catalonia, Genoma España and Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
