CAIXA CAPITAL RISC JOINS ZYNCRO PROVIDING €400,000.
The venture capital firm Caixa Capital Risc has joined the social network for business or intranet 2.0, Zyncro with a contribution of €400,000. The first financing round started in March, in which the technology has raised €1.2 million from venture capital firms as Cabiedes & Partners and other private and public funds.
Funds raised will be used to continue with the product development and to make the international expansion. Zyncro's philosophy is that every company needs an intranet for work, but many users do not use them, because they tend to be ugly and very little usable.
After reaching agreements with several large companies, Zyncro already has about 100,000 users (60% in Spain). Some 10,000 are in Japan, where the company opened a delegation last May. In July opened in Brazil, in September they plan to do it in Mexico, and then China. The company employs 10 people in Barcelona and the 20 software developers based in Buenos Aires, at the headquarters of Inspirit in Argentina.
For 2012 is planned a second financing round and within four years, expects revenues of €50 million and to be listed on MAB.
