PAPAS VICENTE VIDAL BUYS APERITIVOS GUS.

The Valencian company Papas Vicente Vidal, a manufacturer of snacks among which highlights aspito, has acquired 100% of the company from León, Aperitivos Gus.

The purchase will ensure the cultivation of potatoes in the south of the province as well as increase the production of snacks at the factory, from the current 200 hectares to 500. The deal, which will allow the creation of more than 400 jobs, will convert the snack plant in the third largest in turnover. Vicente Vidal will reach a €45 million turnover.

Papas Vicente Vidal has among its shareholders the VC/PE firms Clave Mayor, through the Navarre company Aperitivos y Estrusionados (Apex), and Sodena. To buy Vicente Vidal, Apex carried out a €4.1 million capital increase (see news).
