BUSINESS BOOSTER, CAIXA CAPITAL RISC, IVF AND BUSINESS ANGELS INVEST €320,000 IN ARTTROOP.COM.
The art online platform arttroop.com, founded in October 2011, just received a €320,000 capital injection to improve the platform and respond to the fast number of users’ increase of this online platform emerged from the program that promotes the first technology projects accelerator in Spain, Business Booster.
This new capital increase, added to the initial €20,000, comes from Business Booster, through its venture capital fund Business Booster Seed Capital, and the venture capital management firm Caixa Capital Risc, having contributed between both the €100,000. It also must be added the private investors (business angels) contributions, accounting for €85,000, and the Valencian Institute of Finance (IVF), having invested €135,000 in line with Business Booster support.
With 400 vendors and more than a thousand exhibits, arttroop show the artists’ work so far from Spain, México, Argentina, Perú, Poland and Venezuela. Customers can purchase original, unique and accessible creations through an attractive range of prices, of between 10 and €25,000.
The Platform works the subscription model, with fees for professionals who want to upload their works to arttroop. A payment for services paid by artists to exhibit their works through a system of packs (the most basic worth €2 and allows the exposure of four works). Registration is free.
