ADARA WINS «VC DEAL OF THE YEAR 2019» AWARD FOR PLAYGIGA’S ACQUISITION BY FACEBOOK.
This is the 3rd time in 10 years that venture capital firm Adara has won the award
The Spanish Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (ASCRI) held the 13th edition of its annual awards ceremony on July 9th, bringing together the wider investment community for a celebration of industry successes. As has now become customary, the Association recognised the achievements of funds and entrepreneurs for progress made and exits realised during the previous calendar year.
On this occasion, we are honoured to be selected as Joint winners of «VC Deal of the Year», alongside Caixa Capital Risc for the acquisition of PlayGiga by Facebook in December 2019.
The brilliant work of management, founders and co-investors made this story a success, and we are honoured to have accompanied them on this journey.
2nd year in a row, 3rd time overall
This marks the 2nd year in a row that Adara has been recognised by ASCRI for the VC Deal of the year, following last year’s recognition of AT&T’s acquisition of AlienVault. It is the third time overall taking into account and ADD’s acquisition by Atmel (now Microchip) that was prized in 2012.
