Delfin also serves on the supervisory board of Adyen, a payments and financial technology platform publicly listed on the Euronext Amsterdam, and is a non-executive board member of Allfunds, one of the leading B2B WealthTech platforms of the funds industry. ‍

“We are delighted to welcome Delfin to the Mundi Ventures team as General Partner and CFO,” says Javier Santiso, General Partner and CEO of Mundi Ventures. “Delfin’s multifaceted and broad financial experience and industry knowledge of fintech and insurance is a great complement to our senior team, and he will reinforce Mundi Ventures insurtech vertical as a leader in Europe and beyond.” ‍

Prior to joining NN Group, Delfin, who holds an MBA from The Wharton School, held various other executive level positions in financial institutions, including as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer at Atradius and ING Insurance. He also held senior positions and worked as a corporate finance advisor at JPMorgan, UBS and Salomon Brothers. Delfin started his professional career as an IT and strategy consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).‍

“I have known the Mundi Ventures team for many years now and gotten to collaborate with them on various initiatives. I am thrilled to join a firm with such an impressive portfolio of companies and founders and excited with the opportunity to help build out Mundi Ventures mission to back bold and purpose-driven founders around the world,» said Delfin.

This past year, Mundi Ventures has reinforced its team to not only support this mission, but also to continue building out its global platform, appointing Yoko Kojima as Head of ESG. The strategy of Mundi Ventures has always been purpose-driven at its core, taking into consideration the positive societal impact of its investments. Yoko will drive Mundi Ventures ESG strategy forward, and will be advising and working for both portfolio companies and Mundi Ventures itself.
